Creative Movement/Liturgical Dance

Bible Verse: Psalm 150

Praise the Lord! Praise God in His sanctuary; Praise Him in His mighty firmament! Praise Him for His mighty acts;
Praise Him according to His excellent greatness! Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; Praise Him with the lute and harp! Praise Him with the tumbrel and dance; Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes! Praise Him with loud cymbals; Praise Him with crashing cymbals! Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!

Mission Statement - To learn the Art of Worship through Movement

Creative Movement/Liturgical Dance is the art of worshipping the Lord with your entire being through music and the Word of the Lord. In creative movement students will have the opportunity to exercise their ligaments while learning to worship the Lord through movement of their being.  They will learn that there bodies are an instrument to be used by and for the Lord. In Liturgical Dance students are able to learn to worship the Lord through their relationship with him.  They will learn the biblical foundations of dance and how to make it a part of  their everyday worship to him. The students will also have the opportunity to learn new techniques and the basics of Christian Choreography.
